Who we are

Agentic Ireland is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are an Irish business owned and run by Gerard Mulligan.

What we collect, and why

When you contact us. If you use a form on this site, ring us, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to tell us — typically your name, email address, phone number, business name and a description of what you need. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote or proposal.

One thing worth being clear about: the forms on this site do not submit to a database. They open your own email programme with the details filled in, so nothing is sent until you press send, and what arrives with us is an ordinary email from you.

When you become a client. To carry out the work we need business information — contact details, billing details and whatever access is needed to the systems we are automating. If a project involves us handling personal data belonging to your customers or staff, we act as your data processor and we put a written data processing agreement in place before any of it starts.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request — IP address, browser type, page requested and timestamp. This is used for security and to keep the site running, and it is not linked to you as an individual by us.

What we deliberately don’t do

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no session recording. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. Web fonts are served from our own domain rather than fetched from Google, so loading the site does not tell any third party that you visited.

Our legal basis

Under the GDPR we rely on Article 6(1)(b), taking steps at your request before entering a contract and then performing that contract, for enquiries and client work. For keeping the website secure and for our own business records we rely on Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.

Who else is involved

We keep the list of third parties as short as we practically can:

• VercelWebsite hosting. Serves this site and keeps standard server logs.
• Lonex / SupremeBoxEmail hosting. Handles email sent to and from our address.
• WhatsApp (Meta)Messaging. Only if you choose to message us there. Your message is processed under Meta's own privacy policy.
• Google MapsDirections link. Nothing is embedded on this site. Following our address link takes you to Google, where their policy applies.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep things

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for the length of the relationship and then for six years afterwards, because Irish tax and company law requires it. Server logs are held for a short period by our hosting provider and then discarded.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Ask us and we will respond within one month, free of charge.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Irish supervisory authority, the Data Protection Commission, at 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your details, we will tell you directly.
